Estate agent style boards are going up around Sutton
‘Cameron and Hunt – The People’s NHS – Stop the Sale’. Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate for Sutton and Cheam, Emily Brothers said:
“The flurry of activity in places like Browning Avenue and Brinkley Avenue shows how local people unite to defend our NHS from the coalition’s sale. I welcome this demonstration of support from residents in Worcester Park.
“Lib Dem Paul Burstow might claim the People’s NHS is a front for David Ash’s little NHAP band and in turn they may claim they are playing the fiddle, but the truth is that this is a non-partisan campaign support by Unite the Union. They are an important voice in the Labour movement, working to bring about a change in Government, so that the Tory and Lib Dem sell off of our NHS can be stopped.
“I’m proud to have signed the Pledge and welcome the fact that Maeve Tomlinson from the Green Party has done likewise, alongside many other health campaigners. Meanwhile, the Brothers-in-arms Paul Burstow and Paul Scully push for profit based NHS and UKIP’s Angus Dalgleish stands idly aside.”
